From Island Labs

If you are new to Island Labs, we are a collective of technology enthusiasts, who aim to improve the world by creatively rethinking technology.

A major focus and area of improvement we wish to advance concerns the reuse of technology. Specifically, the repurposing of old or broken machines so we can keep demand for new hardware low and landfills empty. At the very least, turn them into interesting pieces of art instead of letting them rot as uninteresting piles of junk.
